Ultrasound Cavitation is a non-invasive aesthetic treatment for effectively targeting and permanently removing fat cells.
Using ultrasound technology, it liquefies fat cells, permanently removing them. The emulsified fat will then naturally drain through the body’s own filtration system.
A specially designed hand piece is applied to the skin. The hand piece then transmits ultrasonic waves which consist of compression-expansion impulses that travel in high-speed cycles.
This back and forth cycle causes an infinite amount of micro-cavities or micro-bubbles that gradually enlarge.
These micro-bubbles then start to collide and implode, producing shock waves that favor emulsification and elimination of fat tissues (this is called “cavitation”). The liquid is then easily expelled from the body using the body’s own lymphatic and urinary system.
Some reduction is typically seen immediately after the package of 8 sessions has been completed but results will continue to gradually improve in 8 to 12 weeks (which is the time needed for the body to naturally process the treated fat). The typical results for most of our customers is between 1-4 inches of loss at the end of the 3 month period.
If you desire to do another package of 8 sessions for further results, we require a waiting period of at least one month so that your emulsified fat cells have a chance to be eliminated through your body’s natural processes.
As the treatment depends on flushing the fat from your system, it is necessary to drink at least 2L to 3L of water daily in the week leading up to, and during the course of the session package. It is not necessary to hold your bladder before the treatments are done as we are merely looking to get your fat cells plump and buoyant with water for maximum results.
Generally, each treatment lasts 30 minutes. A period of 72 hours must pass between each session so that the body can eliminate the fat effectively through the lymphatic system.
